What is Botox?
Medical science has known about Botox for long time. It is a naturally occurring protein in nature and is the registered name of the medicinal recipe botulin toxin type A. Botox is completely safe and works specifically where targeted.

How Does Botox Work?
Botox works by relaxing the muscles. When Botox is injected into the muscle it blocks the nerve impulse that creates the tension. The effect is not permanent but can be repeated without problem. Botox offers a specific treatment against wrinkles that arise by continuing tension of the muscles, but leave all nerve functions intact.

Treatment With Botox
When treating the client, the doctor will introduce Botox into the muscles that are responsible for the tension using a small, thin syringe. This can be in the face, between the eyebrows or beside and under the eyes. It is a virtually painless treatment; the injection gives only a light tingly sensation. Dynamic wrinkles caused by frowning, laughing etc can be successfully treated with Botox.

Effects Of Botox
The maximum effect of the treatment is noticeable from 8 - 14 days. The skin is visibly relaxed and wrinkles are less deep.

How Long Does Botox Last?
The effect of the Botox treatment is not permanent. After treatment the problem disappears for a period of 6 up to 12 months. The treatment can then be repeated without problem. Subsequent treatment means that the effect lasts longer.

About the Procedure
Radiofrequency (RF) fat removal is a new method to tighten sagging skin and smooth wrinkles around eyes without surgery. It works by tightening tissue with an advanced form of radiofrequency (RF) that allows physicians to treat ageing and sun damaged skin by delivering deep intense heat without harming the skin surface. RF is the only non-invasive, non-laser radiofrequency system that combines RF heating with cryogen cooling and other advanced safety features to monitor skin temperature and regulate treatments.

The result is a sophisticated procedure that provides immediate collagen contraction and long-term collagen replacement to further tighten skin and produce a more youthful appearance. The procedure takes about 30 minutes or less, and patients can return to their regular activities immediately following treatment.

How does it work?
The radiofrequency (RF) energy uniformly heats the dermis while cooling and protecting the epidermis. It is designed to cause immediate collagen contraction followed by new collagen production which occurs over a period of time. The RF procedure is the only non-invasive method to tighten loose skin.

What does a RF Procedure feel like?
Each time treatment is delivered there is an immediate cool sensation, followed by a brief hot sensation, followed by a cool sensation.

How long will the RF procedure take?

When can I return to my normal activities?

How does the RF Procedure change your skin?
This magnified picture of skin (before image) depicts diminished collagen density and a thinning epidermis (top layer of the skin) which is typical of ageing skin. Four months after the Thermal procedure, there is a new and denser collagen and an appreciable increase in the thickness of the epidermis (after image).

How safe is it?
The RF procedure is very safe. Although it is possible that skin damage can occur, this advanced treatment has been studied carefully in hundreds of patients with minimal reports of lasting adverse effects.
